Lazarus Naturals Earns B Corp Certification

We don't take being considered a brand leader in the CBD category lightly. At Lazarus Naturals, we continue striving to set a new standard for conscientious business practices with our recent B Corp certification. Providing high-quality, effective, affordable CBD for anyone who needs it has always driven our business decisions. We're thrilled to now be able to show that even in an unregulated industry, companies can still set high standards and operate ethically—without sacrificing profit for purpose.

Certified B Corporations (referred to as B Corps) are for-profit companies that use the power of business to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. As one of only a handful of CBD companies that are Certified B Corporations, we proudly join the global movement of 4,000 B Corps across 150 different industries and 74 countries with one unifying goal: redefining success in business. B Corp certification further demonstrates our commitment to a more inclusive and sustainable economy and validates high standards for social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. It’s using business as a force for good.

Unlike traditional corporations, B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of decisions on all stakeholders: customers, workers, communities, and the environment. This is just the beginning, however! Using the B Impact Assessment as an ongoing management tool, we have committed to protecting our mission as we scale and continue improving our impact.

The rigorous assessment to obtain B Corp certification measures companies' impact in Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. In order to maintain certification, companies must undergo verification every three years and demonstrate their positive impact. We remain deeply committed to sustainability—even recently earning USDA Organic Certification! The same ethically-aligned and value-led reasoning is what drove us to also become Leaping Bunny, Kosher, and cGMP certified—with an ever-growing line of vegan options, as well. There’s no shortage of reasons to strive to do better each and every day.
